THREE YEARS OF PRESERVE & CO.: HOP IN, LET’S TAKE A DRIVE

Three years. That’s how long I’ve been steering this boutique through all its twists and turns. Practically just me—with the help of my husband, of course! But for the most part, it’s been just me—no team, no shortcuts—driving this dream forward with grit, heart, and a playlist that keeps me going. Today, as Preserve & Co. celebrates its third anniversary, I want to share a little bit of the journey and invite you to join me for the ride.

SUNDAY DRIVES AND SOLO ADVENTURES

If you know me, you know my favorite way to recharge is a good old-fashioned Sunday drive. My favorite music filling the car, miles of country roads stretching out in front of me—it’s in these quiet moments that I feel the most inspired. Surrounded by rolling hills, golden fields, and that undeniable charm of the South, it’s where I find myself again.

These drives are more than just a break from the hustle and bustle; they’re my space to think, create, and feel alive. I stop to take photos of the land, dream up new ideas for Preserve & Co., and sometimes, just let my mind wander. Now, as this boutique hits its three-year mark and we’re truly settling into ourselves, I want to bring you along for the ride.

THE ROAD SO FAR

Running Preserve & Co. has been like one of those winding back roads—beautiful but unpredictable. Sometimes there’s been no map, just instinct, determination, and a willingness to toughen up when the road got rocky. Over the years, I’ve faced more than a few potholes (some literal, some not), but I’ve also found unexpected treasures along the way.

There have been moments that made me laugh, moments that made me cry, and moments that made me question why I ever thought I could do this. But there have also been moments of connection—customers who’ve become friends, stories shared over a favorite piece of clothing, and so many reasons to keep going.

I’ve learned to stand firm in my business, in every sense of the word. Not every situation has been great, but every single one has been a lesson. And through it all, Preserve & Co. has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.

To me, this boutique is more than just a business—it’s a reflection of so many things I love: heritage, timeless style, and the charm of simple, meaningful living. The pieces I choose inspire me, much like the stories, music, and places that move me.
